Other Notes: Dylan's mom, Rossy, writes: "My son Dylan was diagnosed with autism when he was two and half years old. Now he turned 4 on June 21, and we noticed that he has not had much improvement with speech and behavior. We have seen him cry everyday trying to communicate; it just makes my heart tear apart. He is getting older, and he understands more about his condition that he really wants to talk but he just can not. As a mom, I will do the best I can to help him. We heard about the biomedical treatment from the mom of a friend of his, and I also read from the Jenny McCarthy book that this treatment is worth a try. I always have hope in my heart that he will be recovered someday.

Since medical insurance won't cover this biomedical treatment, we have to pay by cash. The problem is financial; my husband doesn't get paid much, and every month we are living pay check to pay check. I am a stay-at-home mom.

I just want my son to get help. He is just a beautiful boy, he deserves to live better and healthy. I am very thankful for everything and anyone who can help him. Lend4Health gives me hope. Special Note: Each HBOT dive costs $100 if paid one at a time. For 40 dives (recommended by his doctor), that would be a total of $4,000. Hoping that a lower loan amount would get funded more easily on Lend4Health, Rossy is trying to get $1,500 of the amount on Lend4Health and will figure out another way to get the additional $500.

August 2, 2009: Update from Rossy: "Dylan has started his HBOT already."

August 12, 2009: Update from Rossy: "Hi everyone I want to share some information about the progress that Dylan has made after he has done three weeks of HBOT therapy, which is four times a week. The first time was the most difficult time for him, he cried for about 30 minutes inside the chamber, but after that everything went smoothly and he just really likes to go inside the chamber. He has shown some improvement with his speech. New words started to come out :) and he's willing to communicate too a bit with us (before it was none). He can request for the food he wants and more surprising is that he can notify me when he wants to use the bathroom. He came to me and with his soft voice he said "potty, potty" then he ran to the bathroom. He likes to practice two new words since he was potty trained two weeks ago which are "mom pi-pi" and "mom pu-pu." This means a lot for me because finally he understands that he can use words to communicate with us, which was very difficult for him before. Of course the gluten - casein free diet and supplements also have some contribution. I want to thank all of you for the support that you all have given to Dylan. I will provide further information on his progress. May God Bless you all always."

September 30, 2009: Update from Rossy: "Hi everyone. Dylan finished his forty dives of HBOT therapy last week. He has some progress, but not the huge one :) My concern is still about his speech thing. He is able to imitate the words from us very nicely, however his communication is still poor. So his DAN (Defeat Autism Now) Dr has advised me to do the Organic Acid Test (urine) and the Heavy Metal Urine Test for Dylan. When the results come it will show what type of supplements he needs most now, like B12 injections for speech. I would like to say thank you for your generous loan.
