Make a Microloan for 6-yr old Austin's Health!

This loan is past-due.

First Posted On: June 29, 2009

Name: Austin

Age: 6 years old

Location: Montana, USA

Diagnosis: Autism & Sensory Processing Disorder

Loan Sought: $1,298

Loan Needed For: Glutathione ($809, will last six months); Colostrum ($239, will last six months); and Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil orange flavor ($250, will last one year).

Repayment Terms: 18 months ($72.11/month)

Other Notes: Austin's mom, Lacey, writes, "Austin regularly rides horses and chases squirrels. He is a fun loving boy who loves nature and animals. He appears most at peace when he is outdoors exploring nature and camping and hiking with us. He has amazing rhythm and loves playing the drums while his grandfather plays the guitar. He has a smile that can melt the hardest of hearts and loves with such intensity and grace that it humbles me as a parent everyday of my life.

Austin was diagnosed with moderate Autism (ASD) & Sensory Processing Disorder in 4/07. Since his diagnosis our family has pursued many treatments for him including the Body Ecology Diet, hippotherapy (riding horses in a therapeutic setting), music therapy play groups, sequential homeopathy, enzymes, cod liver oil, probiotics, speech therapy, occupational therapy, SCERTS, and play therapy. We have found Austin responds best to relationship oriented therapy approaches and natural supplements. We believe we have found a balance between helping Austin heal internally and dealing with yeast, parasites, toxins and other "gut issues," and by helping Austin externally with socialization, speech therapy, etc.

Austin has made tremendous improvements in the last two years and we want to keep that trend going. We are requesting this loan because we wish to continue the supplements that help him on a daily basis. Money is tight at the moment because we are living on one income as I am homeschooling Austin. However, I am in the process of starting our own home business with iLearningGlobal so I am confident we will be able to pay back the loan in the allotted time frame. Thank you very much for your help and consideration!"
