Name: Ayden
Age: 4 years old
Location: Arizona, USA
Diagnosis: Autism
Loan Sought: $315 [Changed from $1,000 on 10/27/09]
Loan Needed For: Zeolites for chelation ($120) and hair analysis + consultation ($195). [Changed on 10/27/09]
Note: After posting the original loan request for $1,000, Ayden's mom contacted Lend4Health saying that she had recently learned about zeolites for detoxification of heavy metals and chemicals. She wrote, "It is safer than chelation; the only side effects could be a headache & that's only if you don't drink enough water. Zeolites are from volcanic substances and it's honeycomb structure is negatively charged & attracts all toxins, captures them, & safely carries them out of the body. I've been researching different brands. A doctor told me Ayden would need to do it for about 3 months." As such, this loan request was changed from $1,000 to $315.
Repayment Terms: 18 months ($17.50/month)
Other Notes: Ayden's mom, Stephanie, writes, "Ayden was diagnosed with autism at three years old. He's been GF/CF [gluten-free/casein-free] for 1 year. He just saw a DAN! Dr. 4 months ago. He did a 6 hr. challenge test w/ oral DMSA, and the results show that Ayden has an elevated level of lead at 19. We need to do the organic acid test, as well as a red blood cell test, ASAP so we can treat the lead safely. We also found out he's allergic to wheat and soy. Since removing the soy he started talking in complete sentences! He loves tucks, cars, buses, trains, helicopters, and planes. He is very musically inclined and likes to paint. He also loves dogs, as you can see in his photo!"

March 4, 2010: Update from Stephanie:After sending out one hair analysis waiting a month then calling the doctor, it turned out he hadn't gotten it. So, I applied for a refund on the Money Order I had gotten for it. After several weeks we did it again. Finally, last week we got the results back and am still waiting on the Dr.'s recommendations.
There is a lot going on for him [test results]:
Fast Oxidizer,
Exhaustion state of stress,
Adrenal Glandular Burn-out,
Thyroid outside optimal range,
Low Sodium/Potassium,
Sugar & carbohydrate intolerance,
Impaired protein synthesis,
Impaired digestion,
Unhealthy Parasympathic state,
Impaired Immune system,
Liver & Kidney stress,
No inflammatory tendency (yea!),
Increased cell permeability,
Metabolic trend for food allergies, insomnia & emotional sensitivity (long list on that one - I'll leave it at that),
Elevated levels of Lead, Cadmium & Aluminum
Also included were levels on minerals (I won't list here)
Wow! So much information! Can't wait to get started. I will keep you posted. So grateful for Lend4Health and the people who sponsored this loan. What a difference this process will make in Ayden's life. Thank you all so very much!
